On May 25th, the EU's General Data Protection Regulation went into effect. This changes how every organisation needs to treat personal data. What does this mean for Debian? We have a data protection team which acts as an external contact point and an internal advice service, but Debian has not otherwise prepared for GDPR. We would like to talk about what the team does, does not and how Debian should approach the GDPR.
