The UNDP Natural Resource Management Hub (NRM Hub) is an online platform housing a range of support tools designed to help policymakers, civil society organizations and other stakeholders make informed decisions on natural resources and sustainable livelihoods in Papua New Guinea (PNG).
Our theme is 'What gets mapped gets managed'. Papua New Guiena is a country rich with biodiversity and natural resources - most of which go unrecognized or under-utilized, by leveraging open-source technology, our objective is to enable local communities to record and report environmental and livelihood changes, this in turn allows policy makers and stakeholders to better monitor and understand the situation on the ground, enabling them to make better decisions regarding Papua New Guineas biodiversity and natural resources. Our tools can be found at lukimgather.org and png-geoportal.org (A geonode instance)
