Building a TinyGS Station
Electromagnetic Field 2022

Sorry we are sold out. Space is fun. Receiving data from space is even better. TinyGS is an open community-run network of Ground Stations distributed around the world to receive and operate LoRa satellites, weather probes and other flying objects, using cheap and versatile modules. https://tinygs.com/ This hands-on workshop will cover building, programming and setting up your own TinyGS station. Participants will build their very own quarter-wave ground plane antenna, and base station to take home. All they have to do is plug the box into a USB charger. Payments for this workshop can be taken via Revolut, Paypal or cash in person. No amateur radio license is required to operate the station, only if you wish to send data to space. If you would like to chat about the project or see a station in action visit the Irish Embassy. https://wiki.emfcamp.org/wiki/Village:Irish_Embassy My home station in action https://tinygs.com/station/EI7IRB_2@747769602 Station at EMF https://ibb.co/VvxBGpz https://tinygs.com/station/emfcamp_TinyGS@747769602 If you would like to prebook a place at this workshop please visit the Irish Embassy. https://wiki.emfcamp.org/wiki/Village:Irish_Embassy Wire Lengths To Cut Vertical Monopole 16.5 cm Radials (Bend to 45 degrees) 18.4 cm Link to TinyGS Community Chat https://t.me/joinchat/DmYSElZahiJGwHX6jCzB3Q Background blog post: https://www.tog.ie/2022/02/building-a-tinygs-station/
