IPv6 Addressing and Automatic Configuration

With IPv6 becoming available on more and more internet connections, knowledge about IPv6 addresses and the various ways to automatically configure them is becoming increasingly important. This talk explains the various kinds of IPv6 addresses (Unicast, Anycast, Multicast), their scopes and their components. We will also review the concepts of Stateless Address Autoconfiguration (SLAAC) and DHCPv6.
