How I made an open source geospatial business dream a reality.

Have you ever dreamed of running a business based entirely around open source geospatial? It's been my dream too, and over the last decade I've been on a journey to make it a reality. I'd love to share my story with you! While this won't be a step by step guide to making your own open source consultancy, I'm hoping that by honestly sharing my experiences I'll help others in their journeys. I'll be breaking down what's worked so far for me (and what hasn't!), and where I see opportunities for others to grow their own businesses.

Every new release contains a raft of enhancements and whole new areas of functionality. With an eye on the future, we'll talk about how you can contribute to QGIS, and what the future might hold for this community-driven open source project.
