Biography

Lucas Nussbaum is a Debian Developer, focusing on Ruby packages and Quality Assurance -- he is known inside the project for his work on rebuilding all packages on a regular to identify packages that fail to build. Since April 2013, he serves as the Debian Project Leader.

In his day job, he is an assistant professor at UniversitΓ© de Lorraine, where he gets to teach about Free Software in a system administration curriculum. His research focuses on experimentation in the context of distributed systems (HPC, Cloud, P2P, Grid), and he is one of the main architects of the Grid'5000 testbed, a large-scale, reconfigurable testbed for research on distributed systems.
