L4ReAp: L4Re additional packages, is a collection of "real-life" packages and solutions optimized for working in L4 environment. Main area of usage is high performance and secure networking. In this presentation we outline security enhancements of L4Reap such as stack protection. In addition, new use-cases will be discussed.

Ksys labs is a small enterprise involved in research and development in the area of information security. Experimental microkernels are a good base for secure devices, but they are hard to use. Our experience in the application and development of microkernel based systems, our ideas and wishes are main subject of this presentation.
