Biography
the biggest challenge is to master ourselves, to tame the wild horses in our heads. Come and talk to me about Quantum Computing, Cognitive Science, Punk, Techno or make me laugh
Degrees in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering, Ph.D. in Information Theory. 5 years working on commercial research in chip development, then 30 years at IBM understanding and transporting new technologies to our customers. I teach at the Institute for Cognitive Science at the University of Osnabrück, and occasionally teach advanced statistics at the LMU in Munich. I play bass guitar and sometimes produce electronic music. Radio Ham callsign M0MMS.
