Biography
Stuart J. Mackintosh is the Founder and CEO of OpusVL, one of the UK's leading Open Source Software companies.
He is serving as President of the Perl Foundation, having been involved with Perl since the mid 90's and has held this role since September 2019.
Stuart is also leading the DITO (Develop In The Open) Project alongside Apperta, Coventry University and the NHS, using Open Source to create a modern digital healthcare system and a nursing observation application (eObs).
Stuart is also founder of OpenUK - the UK Open Source industry association, and in collaboration with FOSDEM, Stuart has also been key to the creation of the FOSDEM 2021 web shop.
