Schalk Neethling is a front-end engineer living in Pretoria, South Africa. Schalk has a core believe in the opportunities the internet has to offer in empowering people and communities when you combine the reach of the open web with skills in engineering, design and a compassion for others. Schalk tries to be involved in as many initiatives as feasibly possible where the end goal is to create a community of curious people, who share knowledge and experience in order to empower others to create their own opportunities using the open web, open source, and their own creativity.
