Uri Bruck is a software developer and a translator. Currently he is a freelance IT consultant, software developer, and translator. He worked for several years as programmer and head of software dept. at Actcom. Uri maintains the translation & language resources site http://translation.org.il, as well as the Hat Stand site http://bruck.co.il. In his spare time he pursues his chess variant hobby and tries to figure out where that loose cable end should go. Uri is also an active member of the Israeli Perl Mongers community, and is often found lecturing to translators about software and to programmers about translation.
