Scientists and researchers need tools to share their works openly to invite collaborations and feedback. Though there is free and open-source software available to use for the journal publications and repositories, specific instances need to be developed and to be contributed by the Debian community so that the communities of researchers can use the packages to share their data & information. And the shared data and information then can be used to study and new knowledge can be generated. This proposed talk is to put forth the idea and the means for Debian packages for Open Science.
