Sridhar Gutam is into Agricultural Research Service of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and currently is working as a Senior Scientist in ICAR-All India Coordinated Research Project on Fruits hosted at ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research Bengaluru, India. He is also Convener of the Open Access India, a community of practice advocating for Open Access, Open Data, Open Education, and Open Science in India. His area of interests are Plant Physiology of Agricultural and Horticultural Crops and Plant Phenology, Opening up of Access to Data and Information in Agricultural Sciences, and application of Free and Open Source Software in agricultural research. He is an alumnus of CLACSO's working group, Bienes Comunes y Acceso Abiertoon (Commons and Open Access), and is currently on board of agriRxiv, IndiaRxiv, Thesis Commons, Redalyc-AmeliCA, and Dryad.
