HA (High Availability) is an important requirement for many enterprise solutions, the usage of Corosync/Pacemaker clusters and related packages is key to achieve that in multiple scenarios. RedHat has been the upstream of most of the HA related software and their approach to maintain those packages in their distribution is a bit different than ours. Should we try to follow them? What we are doing is enough? The current state of the HA stack will be presented and also some ideas I have in mind to implement in Ubuntu. Hopefully, we will bring some of this to Debian as well.
