Biography

John Samuel is Associate Professor at CPE Lyon, France and also a researcher at LIRIS, CNRS, University of Lyon, France. He worked as a post-doctoral researcher in LIRIS, University of Lyon in two different teams of database and geo-modelisation between 2014 and 2017. During this period, he worked on multi-dimensional data modeling, analysis and visualization of sensor data for smart cities, understanding, representation and visualization of urban evolution. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from Université Blaise Pascal, France in 2014 on the topic of integration of data from multiple heterogeneous and autonomous Web Services using mediation approach.
